Superheros always amaze us on the screens and everyone has a dream to get Superpowers and loves superhero gadgets, but it’s time we face it. You’re not Tony Stark(or not even Elon Musk) Luckily, engineers and inventors have come up with some really cool gadgets, and with a little creativity and some cash to spare, you can buy yourself gadgets that will actually give you superpowers.
Sure, you may not have the power to single-handedly stop a train, but technology is taking us toward those dreams, one step at a time. After all, who does not want to be a superhero?
Bionic Boots
The Bionic Boots emphasizes that “fast” is more of a personal feeling, which everyone can experience, even if you don’t think of yourself as a “fast” runner. Engineer Keahi Seymour spent a recent weekend running laps around a San Francisco warehouse, but instead of Nikes, he was strapped into bionic boots of his own creation. Seymour was there to show attendees of Worlds Fair Nano, a futurist convention — slogan: “the future will be epic” on superpowers.
I built the Bionic Boots simply because I wanted that experience. Ever since I was 12 years old, I’ve been dreaming of one day dropping into the African savanna and running with cheetahs.
Pyro Fireshooter
The amazing Pyro Fireshooter lets you unleash a flame right from your hand. The wearable device shoots mini fireballs that travel nearly ten feet and disappear like superpowers.
This is not a toy. This is a “badass” device that allows you to launch fireballs from your open palm.
Pyro’s secret is that the barrels are filled with ‘flash’ paper. A specially-treated tissue paper that burns extremely quickly and is gone in the blink of an eye. Magicians have used flash paper in their acts for decades to get huge reactions from a tiny burst of fire.
BESPOKE Bulletproof Suit
A lifesaving suit that is better tailored for the James Bonds of the world than your comic-inspired superhero. While Garrison Bespoke’s website claims that their interest in creating the suit is so that they have something to offer all of their clients, it’s hard to imagine anyone other than a super spy like 007 needing protective gear that is also impeccably tailored.
This suit is tailor-made to fit your body in a color or style that fits your complexion, all while offering protection in dangerous locales. How, might you ask? By using the same carbon nanotubes designed for the US troops uniforms in Iraq, making it thinner, more flexible, and notably lighter than your standard Kevlar cover.
If you’re going up against a super-spy, then you really should try your best to look dapper. A layer of carbon nanotubes under the fabric is the hidden secret to this suit. The Bulletproof Suit is available at Garrison Bespoke and priced at approximately $20,000.
Invisibility Cloak
Admit it. You’d love to own an invisibility cloak as one of the superpowers. Utter an embarrassing faux pas at a party? Just throw on your magical garment and vanish from the snooty gaze of your fellow partygoers. Want to hear what your boss is really saying about you? Stroll right into his or her office and get the goods.
Well, Muggles, science has some good news for you: Invisibility cloaks are a reality. The technology is far from perfect, but if you’ll step into our high-tech boutique of vanishing apparel, we’ll guide you through your invisibility cloak options.
“It’s like the card people in Alice in Wonderland,” Prof Smith explained. “If they turn on their sides you can’t see them but they’re obviously visible if you look from the other direction.”
